Azerbaijan’s insurance market declines

In January-April 2019, 21 Azerbaijan-based insurers collected AZN 265.297 million in premiums, down 12% from the previous year, Report informs citing the Financial Markets Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).
In the reporting period, the insurance payments amounted to AZN 66.651 million, down 15.1% in comparison to a year earlier.
In the reporting period of 2018, this figure was AZN 26.
