The inclusion of an average export price per barrel of Azeri Light oil in the amount of $60 ($10 more) in Azerbaijan’s revised state budget for 2023 is quite real, despite the apparent risks, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at a joint meeting of the Parliamentary Committees on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship and Labor and Social Policy during the discussion of amendments to the law on the state budget for 2023, Report informs.
He noted that the average annual inflation is expected to decrease in Azerbaijan.
“At the same time, one of the significant factors is the importance of non-oil GDP for forecasting income. This indicator has been increased compared to the previous forecast,” the minister added.
