Azerbaijan's consolidated budget surplus exceeds $2.2B in 2022

In the first half of 2022, the income of the consolidated budget of Azerbaijan amounted to 18,149.7 million manats ($10.68 billion), and expenditures stood at 14.343 billion ($8.44 billion), respectively, up 18.4% and 12.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance.
Consequently, the surplus accounted for 3.806 billion manats ($2.24 billion), showing a 47.7% growth compared to a year earlier.
