Azerbaijan represented at 1st Silk Road Finance and Technology Forum

Vusal Khalilov, deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), was among the speakers at the first Silk Road Finance and Technology Forum in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Report informs, citing the CBA.

During a panel discussion titled "Regulating the Boundaries – Artificial Intelligence and Tokenization", Khalilov shared his views on the new opportunities and challenges created by rapidly developing technologies in the financial sector, the adaptation of regulatory approaches to modern technological trends, and the impact of artificial intelligence and tokenization on the future of financial services.

The CBA representative also briefed forum participants on the regulator's initiatives to promote financial technologies in Azerbaijan, expand digital financial services and integrate innovation into the country's financial sector.
