Azerbaijan reduces import of domestically produced goods from Georgia by over 6%

In January-May of 2024, Azerbaijan imported domestically produced goods worth 43.46 million from Georgia, 6.3% less than the same period last year, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Exports to Azerbaijan made up 4.2% of the total export of domestically produced goods of the neighboring country.
During the reporting period, Georgia exported a total of $1.03 billion worth of domestically produced goods, which is 15.8% less than a year ago.
The main partners of Georgia in the export of domestically produced goods are Russia ($217.24 million; 0.9% less), Türkiye ($153.61 million; 0.6% more), China ($100.47 million; 43% less), and Armenia ($55.91 million; 13.2% less).
