Azerbaijan posts 26% decline in troubled loans

As of January 1, 2024, overdue loans in Azerbaijan amounted to 437.8 million manats ($257.53 million), down 0.6% from a month earlier, and 26.3% from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
By the end of December 2023, the share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio was 1.8%, while this figure was 1.9% at the end of November and 2.9% at the end of 2022.
