Population selling less rubles to banks in Azerbaijan

Baku. 8 November. REPORT.AZ/ About RUR 903.672 million was exchanged by population in commercial banks in September of this year.

Report informs referring to Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), in first nine months of this year, population sold RUR 6 907.797 million to commercial banks. Sale of ruble by population in August amounted RUR 1 014.898 million. So the sale of ruble decreased by 11% in September.

Banks bought RUR 687.43 million from people in September 2015.

Experts group of Report belives the main reason of reduction of ruble turnover is ending of tourism season.
