Azerbaijan parliament starts to review 2025 state budget execution

The Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis has begun discussions on the draft law on the execution of the 2025 state budget.
According to Report, the document was submitted to parliament on June 8.
In line with the draft law, Azerbaijan"s state budget revenues in 2025 amounted to 39.1846 billion manats, which is 5.4% higher than the previous year and 2.2% above the forecast.
Budget expenditures for the reporting period reached 38.6046 billion manats, marking a 2.4% increase compared to 2024. However, actual spending was 6.8% below the projected figure.
As a result, the state budget was executed with a surplus of 580 million manats, equivalent to 0.45% of the country"s GDP.
