Azerbaijan issues updated metal banknotes

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has put into circulation the renewed one-gapik metal banknotes.

Report informs that on the reverse side of the updated one-gapik metal banknote, the State coat of arms and the year of production of the banknote are shown as new design elements.

Other design elements and technical parameters of the updated one-gapik metal banknote have been kept unchanged, corresponding to the currently circulating metal banknote of the same denomination.

The updated one-gapik metal banknote will be in circulation in parallel with the currently circulating banknotes of the same denomination.
