Azerbaijan, Islamic Financial Services Board discuss co-op prospects

Azerbaijan and the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) have reviewed prospects for cooperation, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The discussions took place during the meeting between First Deputy Governor of the CBA, Aliyar Mammadyarov and Secretary-General of the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB), Ghiath Shabsigh.
The parties discussed the dynamics of financial sector development, exchanged views on initiatives to expand financial inclusion and strengthen sector resilience, and explored cooperation prospects in areas of mutual interest.
