Azerbaijan cuts forecast on receipts from privatization by 20%

Baku. 30 October. REPORT.AZ/ As one of sources to finance state budget for 2019, receipts from privatization of state-owned enterprises are forecasted to make up AZN 80 million, down AZN 26.463 million or 24.9% from 2017, AZN 20 million or 20% from 2018’s forecast, Report informs citing Chamber of Account’s opinion on budget package for 2019.
No internal borrowing and receipts from EU grants were planned to compensate the budget deficit.
Loans to be attracted from abroad (AZN 1,695,600,000) will be directed to compensation of the state budget deficit.
As of January 1, 2019, AZN 87 million of budget deficit is planned to compensate for the remainder of single treasury account.
