Average monthly wages in Azerbaijan increase by 6.5%

The average nominal monthly wage of hired employees in Azerbaijan increased by 6.5% in January–April 2026 compared to the same period last year, reaching 1,172 manats ($690).

According to Report, citing the State Statistics Committee, higher wages were recorded in mining, financial and insurance activities, information and communication technologies, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as transport and warehousing sectors.
