Average monthly salary in Azerbaijan rises 7%

The average monthly nominal salary of hired employees in Azerbaijan rose by 7% in January-June 2026 compared with the same period last year, reaching 1,174 manat ($691), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, average monthly nominal wages were higher in mining, financial and insurance activities, information and communications, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as transport and warehousing.
