Assets of Azerbaijani banking sector make 30.4 bln AZN

Baku. 5 April. REPORT.AZ/ Total assets of 32 commercial banks operating in Azerbaijan to February 28, 2017 amounts to 30 419.2 mln AZN.

Report informs citing the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA), 27 772,7 mln AZN of this figure accounts for the banks' total liabilities, 2 646.6 mln for balance capital.

Population's deposits in banks to March 1 made 7 084.3 mln AZN.

Number of the banks' branches made 563, departments 135, ATMs 2 462, banks staff 16 662 people.
