Nearly $26B required for implemention of Azerbaijan’s socio-economic development strategy

The implementation of the Strategy for Socio-Economic Development in 2022-2026 in Azerbaijan will require about 43.8 billion manats ($25.764 billion), Report informs referring to the Finance Ministry's Medium-term budget framework for 2024-2027.

According to the document, 9.2 billion manats ($5.411 billion) were allocated from the state budget in 2020-2022, for the implementation of the strategy. It is planned to allocate 7.5 billion manats ($4.411 billion) in 2023 and 16.8 billion manats ($9.882 billion) in 2024-2026.
