Annual inflation in Turkiye accelerates in April

Annual inflation in Turkiye reached 69.97% in April, Report informs referring to the Turkish Statistical Institute.

At the same time, in January and March of this year, this figure was 48.69% and 61.14%, respectively. Turkish media noted that the January inflation was a record for Turkiye since 2002.

At the same time, inflation on a monthly basis decreased from 9.19% in March to 7.67% in April.
