Adoption of specific law on overdue loans should be prepared

Baku. 2 October. REPORT.AZ/ “Draft legislation should be prepared on non-performing loans in Azerbaijan. If the non-performing loans in total loan portfolio was 10%, currently this figure is higher. Extending non-performing loans is useless. It is necessary to solve this problem once and for all.”

Report informs Ali Masimli, member of parliamentary committee on economic policy, industry and business said at today’s plenary session of Milli Majlis.

He also said, it is necessary to take measures in order to encourage small business.
