A total of 10,900 fires have occurred in Azerbaijan this year, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Etibar Mirzoyev said.
Report quotes him as saying part of these fires were in the liberated territories.
The fires have engulfed 211 hectares of woodlands and 2,318 grain fields. A total of 29 people have died in fires since the start of the year until August 25," he said.
