Azerbaijani alpinists have conquered Mount Kilimanjaro. Report informs citing the Azerbaijan Alpinism Federation (AAF) that a team of 7 people climbed the highest peak of the African continent.

Alpinists, who climbed the Heydar Peak located at an altitude of 3751 meters above sea level in the Gizilgaya massif of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, paid tribute to the memory of the National Leader in front of his bas-relief, and raised the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
