Turkish state bodies confirm sale of Bursagaz and Kayserigaz companies to SOCAR

The Turkish Competition Authority (TCA) and Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) gave consent to sale of Bursagaz and Kayserigaz companies to SOCAR, Report informs citing Haberturk.

As for Millenicom company, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA) will give consent next week. Generally, EWE Turkey Holding’s handover works are planned to be completed on May 29.

SOCAR purchased EWE Turkey Holding and companies it incorporates in January 2019. EWE Turkey Holding includes Bursagaz, Kayserigaz, Enervis, EWE Enerji and Millenicom.
