SOCAR Ukraine Trading House intends to positively resolve conflict situation with Ukrainian energy exchange

SOCAR Ukraine Trading House is a permanent member of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange and regularly takes part in e-auctions with the only goal of acquiring this or any other resource to meet commercial needs, Report informs citing the Trading House.

According to SOCAR Ukraine, on August 13, 2019, the company for the first time took part in the natural gas auctions at the e-platform of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange with lots each of 50,000 cubic meters on stake.

"We would like to note that during his economic activity SOCAR Ukraine Trading House did not violate the Ukrainian laws. During the auction the Trading House also acted strictly in line with the rules and regulations of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange. In line with the rules, minimal steps on the phased increase in purchase price can be done to win.

The company believes the temporary deprivation of access to electronic aunctions and fining are a groundless measure. "With the whole responsibility, we state that we do not have any commercial or business ties with the Central Gas Supply Company," SOCAR Ukraine said.

Within the envisaged period, SOCAR Ukraine Trading House intends to attain a positive solution with the exchange committee of the Ukrainian Stock Exchange
