SOCAR supplies gas to over 700 settlements in Georgia

SOCAR Georgia Gas, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), currently serves over 780,000 subscribers, the local bureau of Report informs, citing Azar Mammadov, director of the company.

According to him, the company has supplied more than 700 settlements in Georgia with gas and built an 11,000-km-long gas pipeline since 2007.

SOCAR Georgia Gas, which entered the Georgian natural gas market in 2007, provides delivery and distribution of gas. The company employs more than 2,000 people.
