SOCAR starts supplying Rosneft's liquefied gas to Ukraine

SOCAR New Enegry, an export operator of Rosneft's supplies to Ukraine, plans to deliver the first batch of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Avantaj, Report informs, citing enkorr.

"A batch of LPG with a volume of 630 tonnes produced by the Novokuibishevsk Refinery was shipped on May 21 to the address of Zavorychi station," the source said.

Only Avantaj has a gas filling station at Zavorychi station (Kyiv region).

Earlier it was reported that SOCAR will be able to offer the first volume of LPG under TERM contracts from July 2021. The premium under the contract may amount to $25 per tonne to the monthly average of the Argus daf Brest quotation. SOCAR New Enegry offers spot consignments of Rosneft autogas in May and June with a premium of $40 per tonne to the monthly average daf Brest.

May 24, SOCAR New Enegry carried out the first supply of diesel fuel produced by Rosneft to Ukraine. The resource in the volume of about 2,000 tons was imported to the address of a company from the OKKO group.

According to available information, sales and communication with Ukrainian counterparties will be supervised by the Swiss office of SOCAR Trading. Meanwhile, the role of the Ukrainian office of the company in the distribution and sale of volumes is not excluded.

As previously reported, the new operator's quota for May is more than 100,000 tons of diesel fuel and 12,000 tons of liquefied gas.
