SOCAR: Rumors on repayment of Georgian citizens’ debts are a lie and provocation

Baku. 26 November. REPORT.AZ/ The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has dismissed rumors in social networks about repayment of Georgian citizens’ debts.

According to Report, SOCAR wrote on its facebook page that the rumors on repayment of Georgian citizens’ debts are nothing but a lie and provocation.

"Azerbaijan’s global brand SOCAR gets revenues from its operations in different countries. Revenues from operations in Georgia, Turkey, Switzerland and other countries made up more than 90% of SOCAR’s total revenues," the company said in a statement.

SOCAR does not make any transfers to the Georgian state except for legal taxes.
