SOCAR President holds meetings with heads of world's leading companies in Abu Dhabi

President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev, who arrived the United Arab Emirates to participate in an event where world oil and gas companies take part, met with the leaders of several leading companies.

According to Report, Rovnag Abdullayev held his first meeting with the president of China National Petroleum Company (CNPC) Wang Yilin.

SOCAR President and CNPC head discussed issues of cooperation and partnership prospects. During the meeting, the sides discussed other issues of mutual interest and expressed satisfaction with the cooperation plans.

Current projects were in the focus of the meeting between SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev and President of Saudi Aramco Oil Company Amin H. Nasser.

Company executives also held discussions around the future plans and bilateral cooperation. It was noted that such meetings are very important for further cooperation.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev also met with Patrick Pouyanné, General Director of the French Total, and Bob Dudley, BP President, during which the sides discussed the issues of mutual cooperation and plans for the future.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation and emphasized the possibility of further expansion of their partnership.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev also met with UAE Minister of Energy and Industry Suhay Mohammed al-Mazrouei. According to Report, the parties underlined the high level of bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction with the new prospects for cooperation. They also exchanged views on oil and gas and petrochemical projects.

President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rovnag Abdullayev also met with the president of the Russian company LUKoil Vagit Alekperov. At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and LUKoil.
