SOCAR, KazMunayGas discuss Kazakh oil transit via Azerbaijan

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Askhat Khassenov, Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas, during Baku Energy Week.

Report informs that the meeting noted the successful development of energy sector ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and expressed satisfaction with the cooperation established between SOCAR and KazMunayGas.

During the conversation, it was noted that the project to transport Kazakh oil through Azerbaijan is being successfully continued, and the work carried out in this direction was reviewed. The parties exchanged views on joint investment opportunities in third countries and other issues of mutual interest.
