SOCAR: In case of favorable offer, investment in filling stations in Belarus can be considered

SOCAR always considers investment opportunities in all countries and regularly appreciate them, the Deputy Chief of Public Relations and Events Department of SOCAR Ibrahim Ahmadov told Report.

According to him, projects on oil and gas refinery are more profitable for the company: "Investments in the filling stations are not among the priorities of our investment strategy. However, in case of a favorable offer, this issue can be considered."

Ahmadov noted that SOCAR prefers investment projects which create synergy with the current activity and are available for integration of different fields in the future.

Belarusian media recently released information about SOCAR’s plans to invest in filling stations in Belarus.
