Spain is ready to become a hub for gas supplies to the EU countries, country's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said.
Report informs, citing foreign media, that following the meeting with his Polish colleague Mateusz Morawiecki, Sanchez said the country has an effective regasification system.
"I believe that Spain has the opportunity to become a hub for regasification and gas exports to the countries of the European Union," Sanchez added.
According to previous reports, Spain would offer to export gas to Europe via two gas pipelines through the Pyrenees and use the logistics capabilities of its gas system to avoid the need to reduce gas consumption.
