Polyethylene production in Azerbaijan increases by almost 46%

In January, Azerbaijan produced 13,600 tons of propylene, 17,900 tons of polyethylene, and 17,900 tons of ethylene, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, 12,600 tons of total propylene production was commercial.

During the reporting period, propylene production rose by 25.9%, while the increase in the production of commercial propylene was 16.7%

In January 2021, ethylene production increased by 39.8%, while polyethylene production grew by 45.5%.
