Over 80 million barrels of BTC oil shipped from Ceyhan terminal this year

BOTAŞ International Limited (BIL), which operates the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in Turkey, transported 80.443 million barrels of crude oil through the Ceyhan terminal last year.
This amount of crude oil was loaded on 111 tankers and sent to world markets, Report informs, referring to the company.
So far, 4,770 tankers have carried 3,651,000,000 barrels of crude oil from the port.
In 2001, BIL was authorized to operate BTC in Turkey. The first tanker loading of crude oil from BTC at the Ceyhan terminal was on June 2, 2006.
