OPEC+ Ministerial Committee to gather in Baku in March

Baku. 18 January. REPORT.AZ/ The 13th session of the OPEC-non-OPEC Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan on March, 18th.

Report informs citing OPEC that the fulfillment of the new OPEC+ agreement, which entered into force this month, will be monitored at the meeting.

On December 7, OPEC and non-OPEC countries agreed to cut oil output by 1.2 million barrels per day from January. Azerbaijan is to reduce output by 20,000 barrels per day.

According to Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry, the Joint Technical Commission of the OPEC and non-OPEC countries will be held on March 17 in Baku.
