Kuwait's state oil company has announced the cancellation of the force majeure status that had been introduced during the military conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
According to Kuwait Government Communication Center, cited by Report, the country's oil production could be increased to 2 million barrels per day within a week, following the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the resumption of commercial shipping.
The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation emphasized that the decision to lift force majeure is linked to the normalization of the regional situation and the restoration of energy supply logistics routes.
