Khalid Al-Falih: "OPEC+ to discuss future plan of cooperation"

"Continuation of cooperation between OPEC and non-OPEC countries will be one of the main topics of the 13th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC)," Saudi Arabian Minister of Energy, Industry and Natural Resources Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Falih said at the meeting.

Report informs that, according to him, this will give assurance to the oil market players and prevent repetition of the situation that occurred in 2014.

"We’re planning to present the draft cooperation plan in the coming weeks," he said.

Moreover, the minister noted that OPEC and non-OPEC countries had restored the balance in the oil market by joining their efforts.

"We see progress in contrast to late 2018 but we still have much work ahead," he added.
