Regarding the possible transportation of Kazakh oil, discussions are being held with Azerbaijan at various levels, including state and national companies, said Dauren Karabayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Economics and Finance of KazMunayGas company.
"Details must be agreed upon first. We will provide detailed information once all agreements are reached. Azerbaijan has two oil pipelines. Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Supsa pipelines can be used to transport our oil," he said.
"Negotiations are in an active phase, but terms have not yet been determined. In the long term, there are enough alternative routes to transport Kazakhstan's oil comparable to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC)," said the deputy chairman.
