According to the results of January-August 2020, oil and condensate production in Kazakhstan amounted to 58.3 million tons, Kazakh Energy Minister Nurlan Nogayev announced at a government meeting.
Report says, citing Kazinform, oil exports made 47.3 million tons.
The Minister noted that in the first eight months of 2020, oil products was 8.4 million tons, and bitumen - 675,000 tons.
During the reporting period, gas production amounted to 37.7 billion cubic metersç and liquefied gas - 2.6 million tons.
He stated that uranium production in Kazakhstan, as in other countries, has decreased: "Production for eight months was 13.5 thousand tons. The decline is not only in our country but also in the others. It leads to an increase in the price of uranium. We are continually monitoring the leading indicators."
