Italy remains main importer of Azerbaijani oil

Azerbaijan exported 2,400,401 tons of crude oil, valued at $ 1,537,616,270, to Italy in the first four months of 2024, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
This shows a decrease of 28.6% in volume and 27.06% in value compared to the same period in 2023.
In general, the share of crude oil exported to Italy in the total oil exports of Azerbaijan was 34.64%.
In January-April 2024, Azerbaijan exported a total of 6,928,455 tons of crude oil and oil products obtained from bituminous rocks, valued at $ 4,364,589,720.
