India to hold talks on energy cooperation with Azerbaijan

A high-level delegation from the Indian Ministry of Energy will visit Baku next week to consider opportunities for cooperation with Azerbaijan, Report has learned from First Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Azerbaijan Vinay Kumar.

Kumar said that the delegation will take part in the Baku Energy Week, which will be held in Azerbaijan on June 1-4: "Besides participating in the energy week, they will hold negotiations with the Azerbaijani side."

He also touched upon the development of business ties between the two countries.

Currently, more than a hundred Indian companies operate in Azerbaijan in various fields.
