IEA raises global oil production forecast for 2026

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has revised upward its forecast for global oil output this year, estimating production at 102.6 million barrels per day, Report informs.
According to the IEA's monthly review, the agency had previously projected daily production at 102.37 million barrels.
Looking ahead, the IEA expects oil production to increase by 7.49 million barrels per day next year, averaging 110.09 million barrels daily.
