Georgia reduces gas import from Azerbaijan by 18%

From January through August this year, Georgia imported 940,600 cubic meters of natural gas from Azerbaijan worth $138.4 million (18% less than in 2020), said the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
In the first nine months, the country also imported 181,000 tons of oil and petroleum oils from Azerbaijan worth $97.6 million, 13% more than a year earlier.
