Georgia increases electricity imports from Azerbaijan

From January through February 2021, Georgia imported 827.8 million kWh of electricity, Report's Georgian Service informs with reference to the country's Electricity Market Operator (ESCO).
According to the ESCO, Azerbaijan accounted for 299.7 million kWh, or 36.2% of this volume. Also, it showed a 16.7 percent annual increase.
During the two months, Russia became the leading electricity supplier to Georgia (521 million kWh).
