Stock exchange gas prices in Europe were growing by 1.5% after a four-day decline in the first hour of trading on May 24, keeping within $920-$950 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the London Stock Exchange ICE.
June futures for gas - on the index of the largest European hub TTF - opened trading with a slight increase.
The first futures contracts were sold for $923.8 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is 0.2% higher than the previous day’s settlement price of $921.5. Shortly after the start of trading, prices fell to $918.3 (-0.3%). Then the prices grew again and the average growth was 1.5%.
