Envoy: Creating green society important challenge for whole world

Creating a green society in the coming years is an important challenge not only for Azerbaijan, but also for the whole world, Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Watanabe Katsuya said at an official reception on the occasion of the Japanese national holiday, Report informs.

The diplomat reminded that 2024 in Azerbaijan has been declared the Green World Solidarity Year.

“I look forward to Azerbaijan’s leading role in solving these problems, especially in areas such as energy policy. Japan, using its experience, technological capabilities and skills, will be able to provide support in solving these problems in the future,” the ambassador noted.
