Emirati company may join green energy projects in Karabakh

‘We believe that Azerbaijan is a very strategic market for us, General Manager at Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) Husain Al Meer told reporters at a press conference within the training program Greentech Summer Camp 2021 held in Baku.
Al Meer noted that Masdar will participate in renewable energy projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Report informs.
According to him, the Emirati company and the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry had discussed various plans and how Masdar can gain a strong position in this market.
On April 6, 2021, the Azerbaijani government and Masdar signed a contract to construct a 230-megawatt solar power plant in Alat.
