Deputy Minister: Khizi-Absheron wind farm to economize AZN500 million

The wind power plant (WPP) Khizi-Absheron will save about AZN500 million of budgetary funds, Deputy Energy Minister Elnur Soltanov told ITV.

"This plant has several advantages. First, it is the largest investment in renewable energy. Second, it is not only the largest investment in renewable energy but also the largest private investment in the power industry. Why private investment is important "Because it will save almost half a billion manats of budgetary funds," he said.
