Deputy Energy Minister: Russia is committed to OPEC+ agreement

The agreement reached by OPEC and OPEC+ countries in December promoted stability in the oil market.
"Russia is committed to the OPEC+ agreement which is proven by the indicators of the country’s oil output. Russia will continue its efforts in cooperation in this field," Deputy Minister of Energy of Russian Federation Pavel Sorokin said at the 13th meeting of the OPEC/non-OPEC Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC).
Sorokin said that the decision taken by OPEC and OPEC+ countries in December 2018 promoted stability in the oil market: "This decision creates a basis for sustainable development of the oil market. Russia supports this decision."
