Cold weather disrupts replenishment of gas storage facilities in Europe

Cold weather disrupted the beginning of the replenishment of reserves in underground gas storage facilities in Europe, almost all of the volume injected since the beginning of the season was again used by consumers, Report informs referring to Gazprom company.
According to Gas Infrastructure Europe, 2.9 billion cubic meters of gas were pumped into European underground storage facilities from March 26 to April 12. However, almost all of this volume - 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas - was again used by consumers.
The company notes that in this regard, the level of gas reserves in European storage facilities doesn’t exceed 30 percent.
