BP employs about 2,450 Azerbaijani citizens

At the end of 2020, the number of BP’s Azerbaijani national employees was 2,442, including fixed-term employees, Report informs, referring to a joint report of BP Azerbaijan and partners.

This is 92 people or 3.63 percent less than at the end of 2019. Compared to the figures for the third quarter of last year, the number of employees decreased by 55 people or 2.2 percent.

Since mid-2018, nationals have accounted for 90 percent of BP Azerbaijan’s professional staff.

Non-professional staff of BP in Azerbaijan is 100 percent nationalized.
