Azerishig OJSC has carried out large-scale reconstruction works in the liberated Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur over the past five years, and this process continues today, Araz Mammadzada, director of the Training and Innovation Center of Azerishig OJSC, told a press conference held in Azerbaijan's Zangilan, Report informs.
According to Mammadzada, the destroyed electrical infrastructure of districts and villages reunited with their native residents is being renewed, modern poles are being installed, power lines are being laid, and new power centers are being created.
"Over the past years, seven 35/0.4 kV substations, including the Digital Control Center and Innovative Technologies Center for Power Networks in Shusha, one 35/10 kV substation in Dashalti village, as well as the Hadrut junction substation and Digital Control Center, and a Digital Control Center in Jabrayil have been put into operation," Mammadzada stated.
He added that in 2024, two major power centers were officially opened with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev: "On September 2, the 110/35 kV Istisu substation was launched in Kalbajar, and on October 3, the Digital Control Center of Zangilan Electric Network was opened. Additionally, the Aghdam Electric Network and Digital Control Center are also ready for operation. All three power centers are equipped with modern SCADA systems."
Mammadzada recalled that currently new 35 kV power centers are being constructed in the liberated territories.
