Azerigaz’s official speaks about work to be done in liberated areas

"So far, the work done by Azerigaz in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan is only related to projecting," said Ruslan Aliyev, the General Director of the Azerigaz Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), at the Open Door campaign held on August 19.

He noted that the physical works have not yet started: "Initially, high-pressure carrier gas pipelines should be laid in these areas. SOCAR's Gas Export Department is also carrying this out. It will be Azerigaz's turn after that. These works are generally controlled by working groups under the special supervision of the Presidential Administration.

We will begin these works when we receive the task about starting."
