Azerbaijan, Ukraine discuss energy cooperation

Azerbaijan and Ukraine have discussed energy security and opportunities to expand cooperation in the energy sector.
According Azerbaijan"s Ministry of Energy, cited by Report, the discussions took place during a meeting between Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The sides noted that the joint intergovernmental commission is expanding cooperation in energy, the economy, and other areas.
The Ukrainian side expressed appreciation for Azerbaijan's support, particularly humanitarian assistance and cooperation in the energy sector.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of establishing working groups to explore potential areas of cooperation.
